These are the powerful, cathartic and enjoyable experiences that Extraudionary is all about. Let's face it... many of us won't be invited on to Desert Island Discs or Tracks of My Years , so this is the next best thing (and, whisper it quietly, probably better).
How does it work?
Following some preparatory work, I’ll interview the subject at a place of their choice or online, using digital recording equipment. This typically will take up to 2 hours. The audio is then edited into a beautiful one-hour programme about their life, presented back either as an MP3 file or personalised CD. Interviews are typically one-to-one, although these can be with couples subject to prior agreement.

The rewarding experience of being professionally interviewed about their life, and their friends and families hearing their story as an engaging programme as good as anything on radio.

Please note that the price shown is a guide and does not include additional costs such as travel.
As I am Bristol-based, in-person recordings made within the Bristol-Bath city region will incur no additional travel costs. For all other in-person UK recordings, reasonable travel expenses will be added to the total cost of your audio package.
A convenient recording date will be arranged and agreed with the subject. People are welcome to be interviewed in their own home, making for a more authentic and enjoyable experience. Recording locations however must have minimal background noise or interference that will detract from the quality of the recording. A virtual recording option is available if more convenient.
Importantly, people you are gifting this for should feel comfortable speaking about themselves and their lives, so please consider this before purchasing this experience!
