These are the powerful, cathartic and enjoyable experiences that Extraudionary is all about. Let's face it... many of us won't be invited on to Desert Island Discs or Tracks of My Years , so this is the next best thing (and, whisper it quietly, probably better).
How does it work?
Following some preparatory work, I’ll interview the subject at a place of their choice or online, using digital recording equipment. This typically will take up to 2 hours. The audio is then edited into a beautiful one-hour programme about their life, presented back as an MP3 file for them (and others where specified) to download. Interviews are typically one-to-one, although these can be as couples subject to prior agreement.

The rewarding experience of being professionally interviewed about their life, their friends and families hearing their story as a broadcast-quality programme, and having an audio legacy for generations to come.

Please note that the price shown is a guide and does not include additional costs such as travel.
As I am Bristol-based, in-person recordings made within the Bristol city region will incur no additional travel costs. For all other in-person UK recordings, reasonable travel expenses will be added to the total cost of your audio package.
A convenient recording date will be arranged and agreed with the subject. People are welcome to be interviewed in their own home, making for a more authentic and enjoyable experience. A virtual recording option is available if more convenient.
Most importantly, people you are gifting this for should feel comfortable speaking about themselves and their lives, so please check with them before purchasing this experience!
